Returns Policy

Moore Clocks offers a 30 day satisfaction guarantee on your product.  If you are not happy with your product, return it in its original packaging.  The customer is responsible for shipping cost and insurance on product returns.  Products will not be accepted if damaged during shipping if packaging is inadequate.

 

A 10% restocking fee will apply to 30 day returns and shipping will not be refunded.  If your item is defective or incorrect, you may return it for a full refund and we will pay shipping charges.  Your refund will be given once the product has arrived and has been inspected for any damage.  

 

Engraved items are non-returnable or refundable unless there is an error on the engraved plate.  If free shipping was offered and given on purchases it will be charged back to the customer and deducted in the event of a 30 day refund.  We try our best to work with customers on returns and claims to solve any issues that may arise.

 

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world.  Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

 

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose.  Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

 

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based.  The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page.  To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Warranty Information

Moore Clocks warrants your new clock, weather instrument, or engraved product, with the exception of all other brands other than Moore Clocks exclusive products, against defects in workmanship and material for three years from date of purchase.  During this time, should repair be required, so long as the clock has not been damaged or tampered with, it will be repaired or replaced at our option.  We offer 30 day returns on all products.  Customer are responsible for return shipping cost on their purchase after 30 days.

 

Hermle products must be returned to Hermle for warranty work or replacement.  Contact information and conditions for Hermle will be supplied with the instrument.  Hermle mechanical clocks carry a two year warranty and Quartz models carry a three year warranty.  Hermle North America is based in Amherst, VA.  Warranty repair and replacements requires the customer to contact Moore Clocks with any warranty issues first.  The customer may then call Hermle in Amherst, VA. after we have been notified and given an RA number.

Please note that unless otherwise specified, all of the clocks and weather stations offered on this site are for indoor use only and must be handled with care.  We will not honor the warranty on any clock that is a victim of improper use or display.

Privacy for our customers is important to us.  To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online Information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

We use other third parties to provide credit card billing and shipping services on our site.  When you place an order with us we will share the relevant customer information (shipping address, billing address and credit card information) as necessary for the third party to provide the service.

 

These third parties are prohibited from using your personal identifiable information for any other purpose.  Moore Clocks does not share, sell, rent, or trade "Personally Identifiable Information" with third parties for their promotional purposes.

 

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.  We use SSL encryption to transmit sensitive information.  The security of your personal information is important to us.  When you enter sensitive information (such as your credit card number) on our order forms, we encrypt that information using Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL).
